The Star Galleon-class frigate was an armed freighter and escort frigate used by the Galactic Empire, manufactured by Kuad Drive Yards. It was a successful frigate model, as its cargo was made extremely difficult to steal, as it has been equipped with anti-intruder defenses, and was defended by a ship's complement of up to three hundred troopers. Being an armed freighter, its primary armament was its ten turbolasers for self defense, as well as a forward concussion missile launcher that holds a salvo of 16 of those missiles.
