The name says it all. This ship is really just a giant Mass Acellarator Cannon with engines attached. It's heavy armor makes up for it's lack of a fighter bay, but while it can can survive several direct mass driver hits it is vulnerable to smaller attack ships. Its main cannon can put a round clean through any ship known to man and can even anhialate a small moon. Destroyers are very scarce and have not been mass produced like the other ships. Onli about 5 exist in the entire local cluster. For a ship it's size it has a relatively small crew of 50. A destroyer usually has an opperational lifespan of about 25 years as they are built to last but will have to dock with supply ships on a regular basis to reload ammunition. It also has 2 minor MACs for ship to ship combat. If used for planetary bombardment the destroyer can unleash devestation on a never before seen scale.
