This model is a simple, conceptual idea of a rooftop rainwater harvest system. The collection area is the surface of the primary roof structure (the lower rooftop could easily be incorporated). The storage area would be below-grade and supplied from the rooftop via gravity-fed drains. Filtration would be incorpaorated into the system at-grade and btween the rooftop and the cistern. A pump-vault could be placed anywhere the user desires, depending upon the end-use of the stored water (potable/non-potable). Secondary filtration would be included between the pump and the outlet(s).
