This is my first version of my upgraded Cr-10 S4
The peculiar upgrade, that made me start this project is the absence of external control-box.
I wanted a more efficient space and there was a lot of empty space under the bed. So i made a polystyrene case joined with extruded aluminum.
Instead of OEM controller-monitor, i'm using Octoprint for controlling remotely.
Steel reinforced Z-axis, for improved marginal stiffness when moving the Y-axis.
All cables have been re-made, short or longer for better cable management, also fixed in a fixed position, with the help of a cable chain. Only the bed cable is still freely floating, but thankfully it does not create any problems.
