Malmö Arena or Hyllie Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in Hyllievång, a new section to the city of Malmö, Sweden. Ground was broken on January 10, 2007 for construction and the building was inaugarated on November 6, 2008. It will be used mostly for ice hockey matches, and will have seats for 12,500 spectators during sport events, and for concerts a capacity of 15,000.
Hyllie Arena will be the new home arena for the Malmö Redhawks, replacing the old Malmö Isstadion. Melodifestivalen will also be held at Hyllie Arena in the future; the arena will also host the finals of the 2011 World Men's Handball Championships and the 2013 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships alongside Stockholm Globe Arena.
