It was founded in 1974 as the result of a merger between British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA). British Airways is a founding OneWorld member and became part of the International Airlines Group after merging with Iberia in 2011. They currently operate 67 Airbus A320-232s.
