This building currently houses the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh. Named after the political activist and peace campaigner Jessie Chrystal MacMillan, it was recently refurbished to provide state of the art research training facilities. It is also home to the Science Studies Unit, the Research Centre for Social Sciences, the Institute of Governance, the ESRC Centre for Social and Economic Research on Innovation in Genomics (INNOGEN), and the Centres of African Studies, Canadian Studies and South Asian Studies. #chrystal #edinburgh #george #macmilllan #political #school #science #social #square #university
