American Airlines, founded on 25 January 1930, is a major American airline operating primarily from Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Washington. It is a founding Oneworld member and merged with US Airways in 2013 making it the world's biggest airline in fleet size. Its current livery was introduced shortly after in 2014. They currently operate 37 Boeing 787-8s and 22 Boeing 787-9s.
