The fan is a device equipped with rotary blades driven by an engine, which is designed to move gas currents (usually air).
In the case of small fans, it is commonly referred to as a fan, while the term blower is used to indicate large fans fitted within a circuit.
If, besides being moved, the fluid is also compressed, it is no longer a "fan", but a compressor.
