Dearne Valley stadium, home of Mexborough Town FC, holds 3835 (1985 seats). The main stand holds 1324, the home end holds 661 and the oppisite away terrace holds 850. The fairly modern side terrace oppisite the main stand holds 1000, and was built in 2007. Mexborough play in the Conferance North, after winning the Northern league least year. Boro were once a league club, sitting comptably in league 2, but in 2005 they went bankrupt and dropped 3 divisions in 4 seasons.
