A generic 1980s/1990s Shell Station based on one in Sylva, North Carolina, which was built around 1987, heavily renovated in 2003, and demolished in 2012. Today, many of these older stations have been renovated or replaced, as was the case with the station this model was based on, but for awhile in the 1980s and 1990s, Shell Stations had three colors and simple signage that gave them an elegant, modern appearance and atmosphere.
