I made this for my friends 9 month old infant. Its roughly 4'x4 'stands 2' tall. I used 3 piano hinges 2' in length for all the corners marked A,B & C except for corner D. The whole fence folds into 4ft x 3inch footprint & 2ft tall.
The entire fence was made using 1 sheet of ½" plywood. I cut out the fence to make it lighter and to get the garden fence design.
Croners marked B,C & D have strips of solid wood to give the hinge more durable material to fasten on to.
U can use or choice of locking mechanism on the D corner.
Cutting the fence gaps was a pain, I made a mess I did not know which tools to use .
