This model is based on Veolia ES UK Limited's plans, drawings and illustrations submitted with its planning application to Hertfordshire County Council in late 2016. It shows the outline design for the exterior of an incinerator plant (a so-called 'energy recovery facility') for burning surplus materials. It would be sited in Hoddesdon in the Broxbourne Borough Council district on the Herts.-Essex border, next to the Rye Meads nature reserve in the Lea Valley.
The model's purpose is to assist the public to visualise the scale and prominence of the proposed facility. It is a 'snapshot' of the proposed facilities, geo-located to the proposed site. The model,is not definitive; it is approximate in all respects and unverified. Please refer to Veolia's source documents for factual information. You can view the underside for a statement crediting the outline design and images to Veolia. However neither Veolia nor Herts. County Council have any responsibility for its limitations.
