The present model was created as a part of the final graduation work in Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo. The work is a base of collected and arranged information about the traditional japanese technique of wood joinery. Through cards that offers the characteristics and necessary information to understand the joineries configuration, the work has as its intention to offer a guide material that allows the comprehension of the selected types of joinery, as well as promoting the exploration and reproduction of possible adaptations in contemporaneity.
