Hey Everyone... My design group kept telling me..."This robot needs arms!" So here's arms. Whew! I think you might understand these joints better if you download the drawing file and look around inside the joints. I added the labels 'right' or 'left' to some shoulder groups to help prevent confusion. I wanted Pistonrobot's joints to mimic the corresponding human joints. Wow! Human joints have unbelievable ranges of motion. Shoulder axes are: Internal-Ext rotation (range 130 degrees), Abduction-Adduc (170 deg), Flexion-Ext (220 degrees.) I also sent the Warehouse drawings of other arm poses. Pistonrobot is one of the very few actually possible robots where if it fell, its arms could help it to get up again. I plan a website of pistonrobot doing yoga poses yogaroboto.com. I wonder if the Atlas robot can do yoga poses?...
