St.Margaret's Church, in Hardley, was originally a 13th century Norman church, and retains its Norman tower, but with various alterations and additions over the following centuries, including a 14th century north porch and chancel and 15th century windows. There is a 15th century octagonal font and recently discovered 15th century wall paintings, including a figure of St.Christopher. This model has been revised in response to Arrigo Silva's (appreciated!) comments, and further in response to comments by Chigirinsky. The windows have no stained glass, and so lend themselves to being redone with tranparent PNG files, allowing the light from opposite windows to show through the church building. The tower, while still not perfect is greatly improved with new techniques developed using Photoshop. The tower roof texture is assumed, since I cannot gain access to the roof or find any other photo to use. Any further comments or advice are also welcome. I have left the original model so that the two may be compared to see where the changes and improvements are. Thanks again to Arrigo Silva and Chigirinsky. #church #churches #England #Hardley #Norfolk #Norman #StMargaret #UK
