Original dome diameter: 7 meters • This model is of unit radius (1.0) • Such a dome can be made, instead, of sheet metal, assembled with pop-rivets • Patterns for struts included, in separate layer • Cardboard "color" provided by "color by layer" feature of SketchUp • Turn off, to see strut/hub colors • Four strut definitions (components) • The design of the strut "end flaps" allows for construction without hubs
