Flatbed submersible from the James Cameron film The Abyss. When a nuclear submarine sinks after an encounter with an unidentified object, deep sea driller Bud Brigman (Ed Harris) and his team are brought in to allow a SEAL team to get to the sub. However, what they find on the sea bed is something out of this world, and the SEALs, led by the maniacal Lieutenant Coffey (Michael Biehn), threaten to destroy it.
Flatbed submersible is one of the many vehicles forming the compliment of the Deep Core platform seen in the film.
