I was thinking about building a shed for my carpentry workshop. Then the thought occoured "why not in bamboo". This is my interpretation of the idea. Wooden members are used to join the bamboo elements. A steel pipe is fixed in the bamboo and the wooden member. Nuts and bolts are used to hold the joints together.
