A suspended platform bed. The inner framing will be 2 x 4 studs, the sheeting will be 3/4" maple plywood and the outer edging may be grey stained oak. Found the eye bolts and rope in the warehouse - didn't want to take the time to figure out wrapping the rope around the eyes. Adequate for a design concept. Update: In the end the client decided to use the hanging bed concept in a different bedroom.
