Double Sliding Glass Doors Double-Paned in Aluminum Frame with Tinted Glass. Needed a sliding glass door element to place in another model, and could not come up with a quick model already done, so I improvised this set of doors, the rail wheel elements, rail-guides, and even the insulating edging surrounding each door within the frame.
Measurements (for each of the double paned doors: 6-foot 8-inches High (not including insulating edges, nor rail-wheel height) by 2-foot 5-9/16-inch Wide (not including insulating edges) by 1-inch Depth. Frame measurements are: 6-foot 3/4-inches High, 5-foot 3/16-inches Wide by 2-3/16-inches Depth, and doors fit into track rabbit-rail guides formed into Frame (sized to allow lift-n-drop each door into frame for ease of installation)
Now, in hindsight, I could have done a better research job regarding the dimensions I used here, but it was an interesting exercise in trying to think of all the ways I could make such a fabrication with the fewest elements regarding construction of a finished product while still giving some outstanding insulating and ergonomic functions.
Cheers, Use and Enjoy, and Ciao!
