These trains were used by Linx between 2001 and 2004.
Linx was formed in 2001 as a joint venture between Norwegian NSB and Swedish SJ to improve the rail services Oslo-Stockholm and Oslo-Gothenburg-Copenhagen. Seven X2 trains were assigned for this traffic. The trains were refurbished and painted in a new color scheme. Unfortunately, the traffic was unprofitable and the company was closed down in 2004. The trains were returned to SJ.
