Seismosaurus (Greek for "earth-shaking lizard"); pronounced SIZE-moe-SORE-us Late Jurassic (155-145 million years ago) it live in Plains of southern North AmericaPaleontologists sometimes refer to a "deprecated genus"--that is, a creature that was once thought to be unique, but has since been shown to belong to an already existing genus.
