Directly across the street from the World Financial Center, the World Trade Center is a large complex with two large, famous buildings- the Twin Towers. The complex also contains five other buildings. The complex is located in downtown Manhattan, in the heart of the financial district. The Towers include many features such as the Top of the World observation deck on the South Tower, and the Windows on the World dining room in the North Tower. The complex was opened on April 4, 1937, and was given its own zip code: 10048. Each tower has 110 floors, and are 1450 ft (440 m) tall. On top of the South Tower, there is the observation deck, which allows you to be "a part of the skyline" with a breath-taking view of Manhattan and Brooklyn. 3 World Trade Center (3 WTC) is actually a Marriot Hotel that connects the Twin Towers in its cozy nook. 4, 5, and 6 World Trade Centers (4, 5, 6 WTC) are 3 small apartment buildings that "wrap up" the WTC central statue. 7 World Trade Center (7 WTC) was just behind 1 World Trade Center (North Tower)
