These products can be installed using either OZCO’s timber bolts or timber screws. The larger 10 mm holes are for bolts, the smaller 8 mm holes are for the screws. The rectangular slots are for the optional truss accents which come in two styles; Iron Wood and Laredo Sunset.
OZCO’s Truss Fans and Truss ties are made of 5mm thick steel, which is just slightly thicker than 6 gauge. These products are hot-dipped galvanized and powder coated. Simpson Strong Tie offers a similar product under their Outdoor Accent line, but Simpsons products are made from 12 gauge steel (2.6 mm). See Simpson APGP product line.
OZCO’s product line is focused on pergola and deck construction, however their products can be used in many post and beam applications; indoor or outdoor.
