Happy Halloween, everyone. With much more experience now, I went back and re-imagined one of my old favorites. I rebuilt it from the ground up with some improvements to my original design. I went all out on this one to make it the haunted house Charles Addams would’ve intended. I included, off to the side, his original drawing that inspired it. Come with me--you can almost smell the dank decay and hear discordant notes from the parlor organ when nobody’s looking. (The organ itself took a week to make!) Why are the candles still burning in the dining room? Why are the portraits screaming? What’s that overturned in the basement? And look out for the evil little mini-me doll in one of the bedrooms. As long as she’s safely in her box, you have nothing to worry about. Some of the antique furniture came from Creekside Woodshop, and I recreated them much more simply and low-poly to fit this model. Other pieces I made myself from real furniture. The couch came from Double E.
