My RV needed more storage in the bathroom, and somewhere for the toilet paper roll to hang. It's such a small bathroom that mounting the roll on the wall was too intrusive. But the wall was hollow and there was extra space inside of the refrigerator cabinet on the other side of the wall. I cut through both wall sides and created a medicine cabinet and toilet paper holder system suitable for the available space.
The shelves have lips so that objects will not fall out while the RV is in motion.
The doors are simple 1/4" birch plywood, sliding in slots in the cabinet trim. The "handles" are simply grooved into the plywood. Since the bathroom is so small, avoiding extra depth was a primary design goal.
Note that the layer with the actual RV walls and fridge is currently hidden for clarity. So the cabinet appears to protrude through the wall. But the extra depth fits inside the fridge cabinet.
The completed cabinet is shown in a photograph next to the model.
