St.Benet's Level Drainage Mill

St.Benet's Level Drainage Mill

Jonathan G.
Standing opposite Thurne windmill on the river Thurne, St.Benet's Level wind drainage mill is fitted with non-operational skeleton patent sails, and the brick tower has a coat of lichen. It is believed to have been built in around 1775, and would originally have been fitted with common sails. This model has been produced without photos of the rear side (away from the river) and may therfore have a missing window or two, or other details. If this is the case I would appreciate any photos sent to help improve the model!
