The Stabile Building was originally finished in 2000. In 2004, Mayo wanted to do a verticle addition to the building. The addition was finished in 2006, making it the seventh tallest measured building in Rochester, Minnesota. It is 211 ft (64m) tall. It is used as a laboratory for the Mayo Clinic.
