A link shack airlock is a high tech structure that contains all the necessary technology to operate link units in the field, often hundreds of kilometers away from the Avatar Compound. The shack is fitted with solar panels, atmosphere filters and reinforced windows, so the shacks can remain operational for indefinite periods of time. Shacks are also light enough to be carried by a Samson. Theses RDA structures are lightweight, durable and highly versatile. They are often elevated as safety precaution against predators, dangerous plant life, and shifting rivers.
