Aunque catalogada como tanque ligero (carro armato leggero) por el Ejército italiano, su configuración sin torreta, su peso y armamento eran similares a varias de las tanquetas contemporáneas.
The L3 / 35 or Carro Veloce CV-35 was an Italian tanqueta used before and during the Second World War. Although classified as a light tank (cart armato leggero) by the Italian Army, its configuration without turret, its weight and armament were similar to several of the contemporary tanks.
