Aidyn S.
This tram is an Alstom Citadis 202 C class Melbourne tram, these were Melbourne's first low-floor trams. The C class trams entered service in September 2001 undergoing a 14-day service trial before officially being launched in October 2001. These trams did have some design floors such as non-ergonomic controllers where some tram drivers driving the C class tram had wrist injuries. In 2007, Yarra Trams replaced the original controls with more ergonomic designs to minimise injuries. The C-class trams operated predominately on Route 109 Box Hill to Port Melbourne and Route 48 Docklands to North Balwyn and stored at Kew or Southbank tram depots, Some C-class trams used to operate on Route 96 occasionally If there is a shortage of D2 class trams This tram is in the Yarra Trams Mk II livery when it officially entered service in October 2001.
