I originally loaded this file in February, 2017 but it seems to have disappeared. 25 of these locomotives were constructed between 1941 and 1944 to haul heavy freight between Wyoming and Utah. The engine without its tender is probably the longest reciprocating steam locomotive ever constructed and is also possibly the heaviest. Eight examples remain in various museums around the United States.
