Y-40 “Deep Joy” is the world’s deepest swimming pool which reaches a depth of 40m (131ft). It is located in the Hotel Millepini Terme in Italy and was designed by Emanuele Boaretto and opened in 2014. It is filled with 4135 cubic metres (909,500 gallons) of water which is naturally heated by underground springs to 32-34°C. The pool contains several levels, caves, windows and an underwater walkway for viewing the divers. The deepest part of the pool is a cylindrical column which drops nearly 25m from the base of the main pool.
This model was created mostly from pictures and videos and also from one very small schematic drawing, so will not be 100% accurate. The figures have been included for scale, and the rocks were taken from the model Boulder by Intresto.
