19th Century Farm Cottages associated with Mellendean Farm, Kelso, Scottish Borders. Part of the Duke of Roxburghe's Estate, these cottages are constructed from local Sprouston Sandstone - taken from the same quarry used in the construction of Kelso Abbey. The cottages were "modernised" in 1921, with the addition of a kitchen block to the rear and upstairs accommodation.
