This is my rendition of a ship similar to the USS Rhode Island. The RI was the last battleship belonging to the Virginia class and was commissioned from February 16, 1906 to June 30, 1920. She sailed with the Great White Fleet from 1907 - 1909, was put back into full service in 1917 and assigned to anti-submarine patrol duty during WWI. In November of 1918, the Rhode Island was made the flagship of Battleship Squadron 1 and assited in returning U.S soldiers from France.
