This is a model of a house that was common In the UK during 1960s when the old Victorian terraced houses where demolished in preference for modern (21 century ) homes and continued into the 1970s .The 1960s homes are easily recognized and are completely different from there 1950s predecessors which where far more minimalistic .They where either very boxy or have continental features on them .Most have mock cider wood or roofing tiles (like in this model) and Most where semi detached . These houses where designed to be cheep a basic semi-dethatched property could be brought for as little as £400 .
