I usually make an aircraft canopy using the same proceedure as I would in creating a fusalage. I create a profile along the "X" axis (GREEN/BLUE) and a profile along the "Z" axis (GREEN/RED). I then create a typical cross section of the canopy. From there I use the "PUSH/PULL" tool and extrude the section using the "X" and "Z" profiles as guides. When the extrusion begins to fall off the guides, I stop and then use the "CONTOL" key and continue to pull the face to the closest "ENDPOINT" on one of the profiles. I then use the "SCALE" tool to work the end back to the profiles. Continue to use these steps till you complete your basic canopy. Then use surfaces to create whatever features you want in your canopy by "INTERSECTING" (RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON) them with your model. Use the "CONTROL" key in conjuction with the "ERASER" tool to soften those lines on your model you do not wish to see. Use the "PAINT BUCKET" tool to add color and transparency to your surfaces. #Aircraft #How_to #Jet #Plane #Surfacing #Tutorial
