Kroeber Hall was designed by Architect Gardner A. Dailey, and completed in 1959. Comprised of two units, the Lowie Museum of Anthropology and the Worth Ryder Art Gallery, it houses the Departments of Anthropology, Art, and part of the Archaeological Research Facility, along with the Art and Anthropology Library. Kroeber Hall was named for Alfred L. Kroeber, a Professor of Anthropology and a Chairman of the department. #Alfred_Kroeber #Anthropology #Art #Cal #Gardner_Dailey #Kroeber #Library #Lowie_Museum #UC_Berkeley #Worth_Ryder
