Blundell Park became the home of Grimsby Town Football Club in 1899, after they moved from the old Abbey Park ground. The Main Stand is thought to be one of the oldest in the football league, dating from 1901. Despite being home to Grimsby Town, Blundell Park is in fact located in Grimsbys sister town of Cleethorpes, which has been the basis for the pub quiz question of "Which football league team never plays at home?" for many years. The club are currently going through the planning stages to move to new 20,000 seater stadium near Great Coates, which is hoped to be completed anytime between 2008 and 2010. #Blundell_Park #Cleethorpes #Football #Grimsby #Grimsby_Town #Soccer #Stadium
