Originally called the Hyatt House Hotel, renamed the Ramada Plaza, and then named the"Purple Hotel" because of its unique color. This hotel on Chicago's Northwest Side featured perks like an indoor/outdoor pool, whirlpool, full-size outdoor volleyball court, in-room video games, full-service hair salon, 24-hour fitness center, sauna and more.
