This is a 120-foot-long, high truss bridge (ca. 1933) on US 52 at the north end of the town of Sabula, Iowa on the Mississippi River. Approach spans are steel I-beams. The original timber deck was replaced with concrete in 1967. The bridge is slated for complete replacement in 2017/2018 on an accelerated construction schedule.
