My Old Home I Grew Up In Back In The 1970's

Dannie R Jackson
This is the house my family lived in for near to 20 years on 124 Water St, in Charlestown Indiana. Prior to this we lived in some old un-insulated homes along the way. The living room is fairly accurate in terms of the furnishings, which includes the wall clock, the gold mirror and woodland oil painting on the wall. The time depicted here is the later 70's to early 1980's. The car is as close as I can find to depict my mothers old yellow Ford Gran Torino station wagon, this models is a Skylark I believe. The roof and second floor are separate components that can you can hide to look at the layout of both floors. The odd thing about our family we kept a large deep freezer in the down stairs bed room, and we had this file cabinet in the hall way up stairs, so I added these features because I wanted to do something that would remind my brothers and sisters of how it was back in the day. The tree grew up and is massive now.
