(CHECK COMMENTS) The 1983-1987 generation Karin Futo 2-door and GTX, thanks to their 112-horsepower 'Blue Top' 4-cylinder 16-valve engine and rear-wheel drivetrain, have been ripping up tracks ever since their adoption by professional drifters in Japan. No wonder these have become so expensive over the years - they are great tuner cars, too. Besides that, the Futo line offers exceptional reliability and quality - it's made by Karin, after all. Because of this, Declasse started a partnership with Karin in 1984 to produce a new, Futo-based Vamos sedan and 4-door liftback, which also featured the aforementioned 'Blue Top' engine.
