Wassana is a medium to large shrub. The grayish-brown trunk is about 5-10 meters tall, spreading its branches as a single-leaved tree that alternates frequently at the top. The tip of the leaf is sharp. The leaf base is slender, the leaf margin is smooth, and the leaf blade is quite thick, with green or yellow or greenish-white stripes alternating along the length. Many varieties have greenish-white stripes with soft yellow stripes. The tip of the leaf is often soft, curved down, the surface is glossy, the petiole is a sheath covering the stem.
Ascendancy flowers are white to pink, fragrant, inflorescences about 45-50 cm long, white dried bracts. There are many small flowers. The base of the petals is connected to form a tube that will bloom in the winter. The fruit of Wassana is fresh, round to oval, red, orange, yellow, with 1-3 white to brown seeds.
