Located on the edge of Melbourne's central business district, in the heart of the Docklands, Etihad Stadium (formerly known as Telstra Dome) was completed in March 2000. Seating 56,000 spectators and with a retractable roof Etihad Stadium is used primarily for Australian Rules Football (AFL) during our Winter months and for some of Melbourne Victory's home games in the A-League soccer during Spring/Summer. The stadium has moveable ground-level seats to bring spectators closer to the action for rectangular field configurations.
