The Faculty of Applied Sciences is the largest of Delft University of Technology and focuses on finding innovative solutions to some of the problems faced by society. In this effort, development of the fundamental knowledge needed to underpin technical developments that can be widely used throughout society is of paramount importance. Knowledge in applied sciences More than 50 professors in the seven departments of the Faculty of Applied Sciences have an excellent reputation for both teaching and research. The faculty’s education and research portfolio targets several domains in applied sciences. The TNW building was built in the 60’s. Since then, several parts have been added to it. The original 3D model for this building intended for google was made by the company youngworks based in Amsterdam. The model was uploaded by Rob Speekenbrink. As the model left room for improvement Rob allowed me to upload an upgrade based on his model. The newer model hides all edges. It has more and more accurate stairs and windows on several positions. The new nanolab built around 2008 between wings D&E has been added. It also has a lot of realistic texture now, including the work of art at the left side. In 2015 a large part of the building will have been replaced by a more modern structure, so this new model should be good enough to cover a few years. http://www.tudelft.nl/ http://www.tnw.tudelft.nl/ http://www.kavlifoundation.org/delft-university-technology-netherlands #2628_CJ_Delft #Bobdebouwer #Kavli #Lorentzweg_1 #nanoscience #Netherlands #Technische_Universiteit_Delft #TNW #TUD
