Imagine.... A lump of iron the size of a football field hurling towards earth at 37 thousand miles per hour.... That's what could happen to mars soon. Scientists have informed us that there is a 4% chance (that's one in 25) that this asteroid will hit Mars. If it does, we would be able to see it on telescope from Earth. It would be the first asteroid collision ever recorded in history. When an astroid of that size hit earth in the early 1900's it butchered over a million trees and left a huge imprint. We can only sit back and watch to see if out breteren planet is pulverized by a giant astroid.
