Not 100% sure of the name for this building. The plaque outside says 'The Granary' but the English Heratige site names it 'The Warehouse and Malthouse' . National Heritage Description: Date Listed: 27 May 1977, Grade 2, Warehouse and Malthouse TL 2470 4/31A II 2. A probably C18 red brick warehouse with pantiled roof. A malthouse was inserted in the building later in the C18 with a brick vaulted furnace chamber and tapering brick cone above the roof level. This is complete with iron drying grid inside.
