The Mil V-12 (also referred to as the Mi-12, NATO reporting name Homer) is the largest helicopter ever built. The name "Mi-12" would have been the name for the type but as only two prototypes were built and it never went into production, this name was never officially adopted. Both still exist. One is located at the Mil main helicopter plant in Tomilino near Moscow minus its rotors and possibly its engines as well. It can be seen on Google Earth at 55.667260, 37.932192. The other is on display at the Central Air Force Museum located at the Monino Airfield about 40km east of Moscow can be seen on Google Earth at 55.831759, 38.186229.
